Stone Mountain

Jason's parents were in town last week. We haven't seen them since the New Year so a lot has changed with McKenzie in 6 months. We had a good visit capped off by a night at Stone Mountain. Jason's parents are big camper people and have a nice 5th wheel so we took it over to Stone Mountain for a few nights. We stayed with them Monday night and left Tuesday after dinner.
If you've never been to Stone Mountain you really should go. They have a great lazer light show and lots of fun things to do. Monday night we did the light show and Tuesday we went up the mountain and walked around the park. The train wasn't in service so I was super bummed we couldn't do that. McKenzie had been walking around saying "Choo -chooo" because I told her we were going on one. All in all we had a great time though!

McKenzie climbing up Stone Mountain - it totally freaked me out she kept turning loose of our hands and wanting to climb. Obviously she did not inherit my fear or heights.

I like this much better - safe on Daddy's shoulders
On the skylift up to Stone Mountain

Ready for the lazer light show!

Gray, Gray Go Away

Ok so this is a pictureless post.
Lately I have been finding some things that I had hoped would stay away for many more years .... gray hair! I'm sooo disappointed. I don't want to be "old" yet. I'm not a big fan on spending a ton of money on dying my hair so I don't want to have to start doing that any time soon. I keep finding a few random ones.... but I know that's how it starts. What can I do? Is this normal for a 27 year old????

Summer Begins

So today was my last day at work before the summer break! I know its been forever since I've posted but I've been SUPER busy. I've moved out of my classroom and into a new one, finished school, gone to Pensacola a couple of times and bought a truck. Wow!

This summer I plan to spend most of my time playing with Kenz. She loves her kiddie pool so I'm assuming that is where we'll be. Which works out well since I can lay out and get a tan. We'll be in Pensacola fathers day weekend for my cousin's bachelorette party. Then Jason's parents are coming for a week and a half. Kim is due in the middle of July so I'm hoping for a trip to New Orleans and then Sara is getting married at the end of the month in Savannah. It'll be a busy summer for sure.

The pictures are from Jason's last soccer game. Kenz is so stinking cute!
