To add that McKenzie does the War Chant!!!! I've been working on teaching her to say the chant and she's just started moving her arm with it! Its the cutest thing. I've got to get it on video and put it on here so you can see. Now we're on to the fight song. She likes when I say F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE WHOOO! Yesterday I was trying to get her to say "Go Noles" (or something like it) so I said "Say Go Noles" and she started doing the War Chant. I'm so proud!!! My little Seminole!!!!
By the way, McKenzie doesn't really say anything. Its a lot of Dada and baba noises but no real words. Is this normal?

From Nine to Ten and an Ear Infection
Well, its been a while since I've posted but thats becasue my house has been the sick house. Last week McKenzie had the runny nose, cough and fever which just turned out to be a cold. It was the 1st sick visit we've had to the doctor. Then Sunday I started feeling badly. I stayed home Monday because I had a fever. Tuesday and Wednesday I went to work but was miserable the whole time. My nose was so stuffy and Tuesday my ear hurt. Yesterday I felt OK in the morning but by lunch I left work so I could go to the doctor. Apparently I have a sinus infection AND and EAR INFECTION! How does an almost 27 year old get an ear infection but not a 10 month old? I got meds and am feeling better now but come on!
Today McKenzie is 10 months old! She's 20lbs and is into everything. She LOVES her wagon and swing and Mickey Mouse! I've decided her 1st birthday party will be a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. I'm working on some ideas and can't wait to be creative. My Momma alwys did GREAT birthday parties for me and Ashley and I'm looking forward to doing the same for McKenzie. I'm not usually a creative person so this is a big deal to me. I just want to be so like my Momma and hopefully I can be some day.
