Kenner and Felicia's Wedding

This past weekend we went to Leesburg for McKenzie's first trip to see Jason's side of the family. His grandparents loved her! We also went for Josh Kenna (Kenner) and Felicia's wedding in Cocoa. It was the first wedding for McKenzie and the first beach wedding I've ever been to. We had a great time and the wedding was beautiful! McKenzie was the 2nd most popular girl there (only the Bride was more popular)! Here are some shots for the blessed day!

Jason, Jeff and Aaron planning the ring gag (they dropped the frisbee but the ring wasn't in there (Kenner is an avid ultimate player))

Sun Dial

So for mine and Jason's anniversary we went to the Westin Hotel in Atlanta and ate at the Sun Dial restruant. We went for lunch because the view is better and its waaaay more affordable. The place rotates and you can see all kinds of Atlanta sights. The food was yummy and we got a free dessert because it was our anniversary. Afterwords we walked around downtown and Jason rode the MARTA for the 1st time. Here are some pictures of our special day together.

I love the dentist!

I know its a crazy concept but I love my dentist. Yesterday I had to go and get 2 cavities filled. I was so not looking forward to it because one of the fillings was in my front tooth and that shot ALWAYS makes me cry. And that is with a great dentist in Pensacola. Now I'm going to someone up here and I was terrified of how bad it was going to hurt. When I got there and he started numbing me up I couldn't feel a thing! I now love going to the dentist because I know it isn't going to hurt!!!

Tuesday was mine and Jason's 2nd anniversary. We didn't celebrate because I had a planning day, McKenzie got shots (no fun), and Jason had a house to clean that evening. We did go to Martin's for breakfast (yummy) and Wendy's for dinner. Last year we were with the youth so I think we're getting used to celebrating our anniversary on a different day. Tommorrow we're going to do something, just me and Jason, but we don't know what yet.

School's Out for Summer!!!

Well, its not really out for me until Tuesday but there won't be any students there Monday and Tuesday. I went back to work for the last week of school. It was nice to be back at work but it was hard leaving McKenzie. I did a lot better with it than I thought I would though. I thought Monday I would cry all the way to school but I didn't ... I didn't even cry at all. My students were so excited to have me back as well. It was really nice. I had AWESOME students this year, I don't know how I'll ever have any better, but I know there will always be great ones out there.

This summer is going to be fun with trips to Coco Beach, Pensacola and Cade's Cove. I also plan to spend my summer in my new favorite spot ... my swing. I've been wanting a swing for a while now and Wednesday Jason suprised me with one. He got it from a house he cleaned out and put it in the exact spot I want it. Its in the perfect place to read and watch the sun set. Sunset is my favorite time of the day and now I can watch it perfectly while rocking McKenzie. Its also in the best spot for McKenzie to see lightening bugs! We've already seen some so far and tonight McKenzie and I are going to watch for them while eating a popsicle (I'll be eating one, not McKenzie). I just love summer evenings!

My new swing!
